Range & Habitat:

Known only from an isolated site in Sussex County, it is a rare inhabitant of bogs and boggy marshes.

 

Description:

All the books say it has a unique thoracic pattern with the anterior lateral stripe bent forward. but in many photos out there it looks a lot like a Green-striped with a notched stripe.  It does differ from them in having a black face line.

I argued this point for a year, won my point with a few people, and then suddenly several photos were published showing the unique lateral stripe, including the one to the left.  Oh, well....

 

Conservation Status:

State: S? - Not yet ranked

Global: G5 - Secure globally, but possibly rare in parts of its range
